Who is Miriam

Miriam graduated in Arts and Crafts and Art-history at the Academie for Visual Arts in Tilburg in 1985.

She is inspired by materials of all kinds. Visual consuming, playing  with materials and  associating , became part of her nature.

From there emerged several objects and jewelry out of all kind materials, called TAOMi-design. The main material is rubber out of inner tubes for bicycles !

She also paints, most realistic, makes murals and “trompe-loeils” and creates life-like dolls in solid silicone. She is a versitile artist as you can see.
